L&T Energy Green Tech and John Cockerill Collaborate on Renewable Energy Technologies

L&T Energy Green Tech Limited (LTEGL) and John Cockerill have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) and Thermal Energy Storage (TES) technologies in India. The partnership will explore the deployment of renewable energy solutions, to support continuous Green power supply.

L&T is a multinational company, specialising in EPC projects, manufacturing and services. John Cockerill is a Belgium based company, operating in 29 countries, focusing on energy and security infrastructure. The collaboration aims to contribute to India’s renewable energy sector and industrial power systems.

By combining L&T’s expertise in project execution, manufacturing and engineering with John Cockerill’s technology, the two companies plans to develop energy solutions. The MoU establishes a framework for future large scale projects to support energy security and economic development in India. The companies plan to work on renewable and dispatchable power generation in India, including large scale grid, and off-grid projects. This initiative is aligned with India’s efforts to transition to low carbon energy sources.
