JSW Energy Limited crosses 10GW generation capacity
JSW Energy Limited, which focusses on power generation and transmission, added 3.6GW of generation capacity during FY 2025 and brought its total generation capacity to 10.9GW.
The expansion was driven by organic wind capacity addition of 1.3GW and inorganic operational capacity addition of 1.8GW of KSK Mahanadi Power Ltd. The company notably added 2.8GW of operational capacity in the fourth quarter, read the official statement. Mr. Sharad Mahendra, Joint Managing Director and CEO of JSW Energy, commented – “We continue to focus on delivering reliable, affordable, and sustainable power while aiming to achieve 20 GW installed capacity significantly before 2030.”
JSW Energy Limited began commercial operations in the year 2000 and is a part of the JSW group, valued at roughly US $24 billion.
