AMPIN Energy Transition signs Power Purchase Agreement with Poly Medicure to supply 9.9MWp of Solar Power

AMPIN Energy Transition, a renewable transition energy company, plans to supply 9.9MWp of solar power to Poly Medicure Limited, a medical device manufacturer and exporter. AMPIN will supply the solar power to Poly Medicure’s five plants using their 75MWp solar park in Kurungawali Sirsa, Haryana.

Under this agreement, approximately ~35% of Poly Medicure’s conventional power consumption of five plants in Faridabad will be replaced by solar power from AMPIN’s solar project. This transition is also expected to reduce Scope-2 emissions. Dhruv Baid, Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy, Poly Medicure Ltd. commented – “AMPIN’s renewable energy solutions enable a seamless transition to solar power, reducing our reliance on conventional energy and significantly lowering our carbon footprint.” Pinaki Bhattacharyya, Founder, MD and CEO of AMPIN Energy Transition also talked about the collaboration in positive light – “This new PPA is a testament to our commitment to decarbonising the healthcare industry and delivering reliable, cost-effective renewable energy solutions that lower costs and support sustainability goals.”

This initiative marks Poly Medicure’s first off-site solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
