LEAPTING and ReNew Power Partner on 1+ GW Solar Cleaning Robot Deployment in India
LEAPTING closed an order with ReNew Power for over 1 GW of solar capacity, covering two utility-scale projects in India: a 609 MWp / 435 MWac project in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, and a 420 MWp / 300 MWac project in Bhadla, Rajasthan.
Both projects will use single-axis tracker systems and approximately 2,500 LEAPTING G1 Automatic Solar Module Cleaning Robots to maintain module performance under high soiling levels, limited water availability, and operational conditions.

The LEAPTING G1 Automatic Solar Module Cleaning Robot is used in large utility-scale solar installations in India. It operates fully automatically without manual labor and uses water-free dry-cleaning technology to conserve water. The system is optimized for tracker-based solar plants, ensuring reliable movement, high cleaning efficiency, and consistent plant performance throughout the year. It has low operating and maintenance costs and is proven to perform in dusty, high-temperature environment.
The order reflects ReNew Power’s selection of LEAPTING technology, and LEAPTING will provide solutions to improve energy generation, reduce operational costs, and support long-term asset performance for the two projects.
